Early Pattern Drawings
(1996 - 1997)
While a graduate student at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, I began making my first patterned drawings about cosmology. Highly labor-intensive, the works were mostly produced using rudimentary draft tools, graphite, colored ink, and handmade paper. These drawings were first presented in my graduate thesis, solo exhibition Cosmica at Pratt Manhattan Gallery in Soho, NYC.
